Prodrive is a British motorsport and advanced engineering group founded in 1984 by David Richards. The group’s operations are headquartered at the Banbury subject property with a composite facility located in Milton Keynes.
Prodrive is known for its longstanding association with leading motorsport teams across all disciplines of the sport from World Rally to F1. Today they run the racecars for the Aston Martin Endurance Racing team, a Dacar rally team and Lewis Hamilton’s X44 team in the Extreme E championship and provide advanced technology services to a range of industries including Marine, Commercial, Off Highway, Aerospace and Defence.
Prodrive employees over 500 staff the majority of which are skilled engineers and technicians with over 300 based in Banbury.
Banbury is located in Oxfordshire on the northen border with Northamptonshire and Warwickshire in the South-East of England. The location is in the heart of the UK's automotive district. It is 77 miles to the northwest of central London and 53 miles southeast of Birmingham. The town is well located to service the Southeast, Southwest and Midlands due to its excellent conectivity with 75% of the UK population within 4
hours HGV drive time.
